Our curriculum
Learning through exploration and discovery
At Wee Kare the children are introduced to the Creative Curriculum which is a comprehensive, research-based curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning, enabling children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical-thinking skills.
The daily schedule encourages the children to make choices about materials and activities throughout the day. As they pursue their choices and plans, children explore, ask and answer questions, solve problems, and interact with classmates.

Questions parents ask
Still not sure? Call 386-668-5883 — we would rather answer it than have you guess.
What ages does Wee Kare accept?
We care for children ages one and up, through school age. That covers toddler care, Pre-K, VPK, before- and after-school care for school-age children, and summer camp.
What are your hours?
We are open Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 6:00pm, and closed Saturday and Sunday. The 6:00am open is there so a parent on an early shift still has somewhere to go.
Do you offer free VPK?
Yes. Wee Kare is an approved Florida Voluntary Prekindergarten provider. VPK is free to Florida residents whose child turns four on or before September 1 of that school year. You apply through the Early Learning Coalition of Flagler & Volusia, and we can walk you through it.
How much is tuition?
It depends on your child’s age and the schedule you need, so we quote per family rather than posting one rate that would be wrong for most people. Call 386-668-5883 and we will give you current pricing along with what is actually open right now.
Do you provide transportation to school?
Yes. We transport children to and from local schools, which is what makes the before- and after-school program work around a full workday.
Do you accept School Readiness or childcare assistance?
Yes. Wee Kare participates in subsidized childcare funding through the Early Learning Coalition of Flagler & Volusia. If you already have a School Readiness award, mention it when you call and we will confirm how it applies here.
What curriculum do you use?
The Creative Curriculum, a research-based approach built around exploration and discovery. Each classroom is organized into centers for creative art, literature, science, pre-math, dramatic play, and motor development, so children choose what to work on and learn to follow a plan through.
Where are you located?
371 Main St, Enterprise, FL 32725 — the Enterprise area of Deltona, close to Orange City and DeBary. The map is on this page, next to the contact form.
Can I tour before enrolling?
Yes, and we would encourage it. Call 386-668-5883 or send the form on this page and we will find a time that works around your schedule.
What can we help you with?
Tell us a little about what you’re looking for and we’ll get back to you, usually the same day. Prefer to talk? Call 386-668-5883.
